They were all there. Ghosts and goblins. Fairy princesses and superheroes. All enjoying Halloween on Main Street in Hawkesbury. The Friday evening event is a joint annual project between the Town of Hawkesbury’s recreation department and the Hawkesbury #VTJOFTT*NQSPWFNFOU"SFB.BJO4USFFU CFUXFFOUIF8JMMJBN4USFFUBOE.D(JMM4USFFU intersections was closed to vehicle traffic to create a large pedestrian-only area children in costume to go walking around for trick-or- treating fun at several kiosks set up by local businesses, schools, and others. .BOZCVTJOFTTFTSFNBJOFEPQFOBGUFS their normal closing hours and the staff at those stores and restaurants also got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up and IBOEJOHPVUUSFBUTUPUIFDIJMESFO4FWFSBM CVTJOFTTFTPVUTJEFPGUIFDMPTFEPGG.BJO 4USFFUBSFBBMTPSFNBJOFEPQFOBOEPGGFSFE treats for trick-or-treaters. 4FWFSBMCVTJOFTTFTBMTPXPSLFEUPHFUIFS UPTFUVQBi4QPPLZ5PVSuTJEFXBMLBUUSBDUJPO that proved very popular.
