Training contract and vacation schemes
Our training contract and vacation scheme assessment days include:
– an introduction to the rm – a critical thinking test – a networking session with trainee solicitors – an interview with partners about your motivations to be lawyer, and your interest in commercial law and the business world – a situational interview with a senior associate and a graduate recruitment teammember to see how you respond to common situations that trainee solicitors deal with – a commercial business exercise, undertaken with fellow candidates (training contract applicants only).

Insight event applicants will not be required to attend an assessment day as part of the application process.
Campus ambassadors
Our assessment days for campus ambassadors will take place in summer 2021. On the day you can expect a critical thinking test, an interview, and a presentation skills exercise so you can demonstrate your understanding of Hogan Lovells along with initiatives appropriate for your university.
Our assessment days have been designed as a two-way process: you will be able to nd out more about what we can o er you, and we can nd out whether you have the qualities we need from our lawyers.
You will normally be noti ed within ve working days if you have been successful.
Please note, reasonable travel expenses to attend an in-person assessment day will be reimbursed.
