All Congressional incumbents in Georgia were re-elected this year , though there were contested races in each of the 14 congressional districts. Georgia’s congressional districts are so gerrymandered that a particular partisan result is almost guaranteed in each; virtually none are competitive, as the results below clearly demonstrate. In one open seat , Georgia Congressional District 3, to succeed retiring U.S. Rep. Drew Ferguson, Republican Brian Jack, a former political director for Donald Trump, was elected. As a result, Republicans maintain their 9-5 majority in the Georgia delegation.
