New York Metro Area Flood Insurance Update Rising flood risk and flood insurance requirements affect low-lying areas and those near waterways across the state. Representatives of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Resiliency will discuss the local impacts of recent legislative changes to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and the effects of sea level rise on NYC properties. Informational resources and advocacy efforts by the Mayor’s Office to ensure NFIP affordability will be discussed as well. This session carries 1.5 hours of CE credit. Pre-registration and a $25 fee apply. M&T Lunch & Learn: “Renovation for REALTORS ® – Rehab Lending and Your Business” Presented by Ron Zuba Jr., Administrative Vice President and Paul Hurley, CRA Loan Officer. With housing inventory reaching historic lows, some buyers in markets across the state are struggling to find homes.
