Molecular Biology 2
Molecular Biology 2 is an immersive eight-week course focusing on gene expression exploration. Covering crucial techniques like PCR, gel electrophoresis, protein purification, quantification, and experimental design, the program seamlessly integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application. This prepares students for practical challenges in biotech labs.
Successful completion grants eligibility for internships at ULP or its resident companies. Additionally, participants earn a Biotechnology Certificate from UC Irvine’s Department of Continuing Education, showcasing proficiency in industry-standard laboratory skills to potential employers.
