Alan Cline joined Vista Equity in 2001 and rejoined Vista in 2008 to start and co-Head the Vista Foundation Fund Prior to Vista, Alan was a General Partner at Accretive LLC and worked at Goldman Sachs Alan co-founded Fandango and served as General Manager Alan holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford University Gary Gauba serves as President of Advanced Solutions Group, a division of CenturyLink, where he also serves as Chief Enterprise Officer (Office of the CEO) Prior to this he was CEO and Founder of Cognilytics, which was acquired by CentruyLink in 2014 Over the past two decades, Gary bootstrapped, self-funded and exited three companies: Softline, Systech and Cognilytics — all with AGC Partners as his advisor He is currently on the board of Stanford Institute of Economic Policy Research as well as numerous emerging tech companies Gary received his Bachelor of Engineering from Gujarat University and his Masters in Chemical Engi- neering from West Virginia University Chris Hecht leads Salesforce’s M&A initiatives, including the identification and execution of acquisi- tions for the company Chris also works with Salesforce Ventures, investing in leading enterprise companies and Salesforce partners Prior to Salesforce, Chris served as a Managing Director and Associate at Perella Weinberg Part- ners and Lehman Brothers Chris graduated from Colorado College and received his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Anderson School of Management, UCLA Phil Kirk has served as the Director of Corporate Development at Cisco since 2007 Prior to Cisco, Phil served as a Strategy Consultant for Ernst & Young, an Associate at DTEC Ven- ture Capital and as a manager at Microsoft’s Corporate Strategy Group Phil received his A.B. in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Chicago and an MBA in Management from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
