Mat Ellis, Chief Executive Officer, Founder, Cloudability

Mat is the Chief Executive Officer of Cloudability, which he founded in April 2011. Mat also currently serves on the board of the Technology Association of Oregon. Prior to Cloudability, Ellis served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tecnh from September 2009 to May 2011. Before Tecnh, Mat served as a General Manager of Adknowledge from September 2007 to September 2009, the Vice Presi- dent of Technology at Connexus from February 2004 to September 2007, the Chief Technology Officer of Looksmart International from November 2001 to April 2004, and the Vice President of Technology at Line- One from August 2000 to November 2001. Early in his career, Mat served as a Program Director at UBS Warburg, an Infrastructure Consultant at PepsiCo, and a Systems Architect at Goldman Sachs. Steve Brodie is the Chief Executive Officer at Electric Cloud. He has over 25 years of experience as a leader in the enterprise software industry, introducing new technologies to the market for both venture- backed startups and leading enterprise IT organizations. Prior to joining Electric Cloud, Steve was Group Vice President and General Manager of the Application Lifecycle Management Business Unit at Serena Software, where he spearheaded the Orchestrated ALM strategy as well as the company's entry and growth in release management, a cornerstone technology for DevOps. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the University of Washington. Marc is the Chief Executive Officer of SaltStack, which he co-founded in June 2012. Prior to SaltStack, Marc was the Director of Sales at Compliance 11 from November 2009 to June 2012, responsible for leading sales growth in the eastern United States and United Kingdom. Previously, Marc was an Associ- ate in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management Division from August 2007 to May 2010. Marc began his career as a Regional Sales Manager at Altiris. Marc received a BA in International Studies and an MBA in Finance from Brigham Young University. Barry is the Chief Executive Officer at Chef Software, where he was worked since August 2013. Prior to Chef Software, Barry served as the Executive-in-Residence of Ignition Partners from 2012 to 2013. Previ- ously, Barry served as the Chief Executive Officer of Likewise, leading the company’s sale to EMC in March 2012. Barry has also served as a Vice President of Application Performance Management at Mer- cury Interactive from 2000 to 2005, a Regional Vice President at Network Associates from 1998 to 2000, a Sales Director for Trusted Information Systems from 1996 to 1998 and in Field Sales for Apple from 1988 to 1996. Barry received a BA from UC San Diego. Debra is a Senior Vice President of M&A Strategy at CA Technologies. At CA Technologies, Debra is re- sponsible for identifying opportunities within fast moving and important new and existing markets. Debra has held a variety of other positions at CA Technologies, including Senior Vice President of Engineering Operations, Senior Vice President of Emerging Strategic Alliances, President of the CA Council for Tech- nical Excellence, and Vice President of Development. Debra joined CA Technologies in 1988. Debra also currently serves as an Executive Advisor to Strattam Capital. Previously, Debra served as a Software Developer at Applied Data Research. Debra received a BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Boston University. A serial entrepreneur, Tim built two software infrastructure companies: Scopus Technology, which went public in 1995, and Octane Software, where he was Founder/CEO which he sold to Epiphany for $3.2 bil- lion in 2000. In 2002 he became a Managing Director at Sierra. At Sierra, he's taken two companies pub- lic, Sourcefire (FIRE) and MakeMyTrip (MMYT), and has been responsible for several M&As. Tim holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from India and an MS in IEOR/Robotics from Virginia Tech. His passion (outside of his family and companies) is soccer.
