Krijn van der Raadt is the vice president of IT and Software Development at GreatCall, Inc. In this role Krijn leads a dedicated team of engineers, as well as the company’s lean product innovation and strategic planning processes. He was previously the company’s Director of IT development, leading the systems development team in developing the Jitterbug, the 5Star, and a suite of health, safety and medical apps, including Urgent Care, GreatCall Link, MedCoach and 5Star. Before moving to the United States, Krijn was a fo- rensic IT consultant at the leading IT Security firm in the Netherlands. He holds a BSc in electronics engineering from Hogeschool van Amsterdam and an MSc in computer science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Beerud leads prod- uct and strategy at Gupshup and has been a thought leader in the bot space. He previously founded and led Elance, the pioneer of the gig economy that merged with a competitor to form Upwork. Prior to founding Elance, he worked in the financial services industry at Merrill Lynch. His graduate research, at MIT’s Media Lab, involved developing autonomous learning software agents for personal- ized news filtering. Beerud earned an M.S. in computer science from MIT & a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, where he was awarded the Institute Silver Medal. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and holds 2 patents.

Greg Luck has worked with Java for 15 years. He is spec lead of the recently completed JSR107:JCache and the founder of Ehcache. He is a member of the JCP Executive Committee. Prior to Hazelcast, Greg was CTO at Terracotta, Inc which was acquired by Software AG. He was also Chief Architect at Australian trAvenuel startup Wotif.com which went to IPO. Earlier roles include con- sultant at ThoughtWorks and KPMG, and CIO at Virgin Blue, Tempo Services, Stamford Hotels and Resorts, and Australian Resorts. Greg has a Master's degree in Information Technology from QUT and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
