Scott Crawford, Research Director, 451 Research

Scott is a Research Director of Information Security at 451 Research, responsible for leading the firm’s enterprise information security industry analyst teams. Prior to joining 451 Research in June 2015, Craw- ford served as a Security Strategist at IBM from August 2013 to May 2015. At IBM, Crawford focused on the direction and future of enterprise security management. Previously, Crawford served as a Managing Research Director and Senior Analyst at Enterprise Market Associates from July 2007 to August 2013 and November 2003 to July 2007, respectively. Crawford has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of In- tegral of Colorado and an Information Security Officer for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization. Crawford holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Mas- ter’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Salford. Jack serves as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Cylance, focusing on inorganic M&A and internal product investment. Prior to joining Cylance in 2016, Ancone served as a Senior Director of New Business Development at Google from April 2005 to May 2012. Previously, Ancone was also the Founder, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Corporate Development for Urchin Software from 1999 to 2005, when it was acquired by Google. Jack received a BS in Urban and Regional Planning and Development from the University of Southern California. Rakesh has served as the President and Co-Founder of Transmit Security since July 2014. Rakesh also serves as a Director of Trusteer. Prior to co-founding Transmit Security, Loonkar served as the President of Trusteer, which he co-founded in January 2007. At Trusteer, Loonkar was responsible for sales and business development. Previously, Loonkar was a Vice President of Sales at NetScreen Technologies, a Vice President of Business Development and International Sales at OneSecure, and the Chief Executive Officer of InfoSolv. Loonkar earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Tom serves as a Partner of TechOperators, which he co-founded in 2008. Tom also serves on the Board of Directors of several companies, including Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Manhattan Associates, Phantom Cyber, Ionic Security, Barkly Protects, Endgame, and NexDefense. Prior to co-founding TechOperators, Noonan served as a General Manager and Vice President of EnergyWise Solutions at Cisco. Previously, Noonan was the President and Chief Executive Officer of JouleX, acquired by Cisco, and Internet Security Systems, acquired by IBM. Noonan received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Stuart serves as a Senior Vice President and General Manager of Web Security at Akamai Technologies, which he joined in February 2014. Prior to Akamai Technologies, Scholly served as the President of Pro- lexic Technologies from April 2011 to February 2014. Previously, Scholl served as the Chief Operating Officer of Physicians Interactive, the Vice President of Strategic Relationships and Product Management at Allscripts, and the Director of Product Development at Masterchart. Scholly received a BS in Economics and BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Man- agement at Northwestern University. Dug has a history of leading successful products and companies to solve pressing security problems. Dug spent 7 years as founding Chief Security Architect at Arbor Networks , protecting 80% of the world's Inter- net service providers, and growing to $120M+ annual revenue before its acquisition by Danaher. Before Arbor, Dug built the first commercial network anomaly detection system (acquired by NFR / Check Point ), and managed security in the world's largest production Kerberos environment (University of Michigan). Dug's contributions to the security community include popular open source security ( OpenSSH , libdnet , dsniff ), distributed filesystem ( NFSv4 ), and operating system ( OpenBSD ) projects, and cofounding the USENIX Workshop On Offensive Technologies ( WOOT ).
