The company was established in 2005 by Adam Hildreth, a serial entrepreneur within the online gaming and social media space, who realized the risks of user generated content for social platforms, brands and children needed a new approach in order to solve the problem at scale. George Kurtz co-founded CrowdStrike. He has more than 23+ years of experience in the security space, including extensive experi- ence driving revenue growth and scaling small and large organizations. His prior roles at McAfee, include Worldwide CTO and GM, as well as SVP of Enterprise. Prior to joining McAfee, Kurtz started Foundstone in October 1999 as the founder and CEO responsi- ble for recruiting the other six founding team members. In 2015, George was recognized in Time Magazine an in innovator in cyber security who will help change the world. George has been quoted or featured in many major publications, media outlets, and televi- sion programs including CNN, Fox News, ABC World News, Bloomberg, CNBC, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Washing- ton Post, Associated Press, and may others.
