After earning his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, Sam led an academic security research lab and launched 2 security start-ups. With more than 25 years of global network security experience, Peter George has an established track record of building companies that deliver sustained growth and profits and in identifying critical worldwide partnership opportunities that strategically expand mar- ket share. Prior to becoming president and CEO of Fidelis Cybersecurity in 2008, Mr. George was president and CEO of Crossbeam Systems, where grew the company from a pre-revenue start-up to over $50 million in revenue. Previously, he was president of Nortel Networks’ enterprise business in EMEA, managing over 5,000 employees and $2 billion in revenue. He joined Nortel via their 1998 acquisition of Bay Networks, where he was VP of European operations.
