Lime Scooter The city also offers Lime scooters as a convenient option for visitors. If you’re not traveling far and prefer not to walk, simply download the Lime app, locate a nearby scooter, unlock it by scanning the QR code on the handlebar or stem, and start riding. Please remember to stay alert and watch out for pedestrians while riding. When you’ve reached your destination, park the scooter and tap “End Ride” in the app to finish.
Utah Transit Authority Trax and Bus Salt Lake City has highly accessible public transportation systems operated by the Utah Transit Authority. Trax is a light-rail system that runs through Downtown Salt Lake City and the surrounding valley. The transit authority also has a bus system. Both operate daily between 5 a.m. to midnight, with trains and buses running every 15 minutes. If you are looking to explore downtown during your free time, Trax offers a Free Fare Zone which extends from North Temple to 500 South, and from 200 East to 400 West.
