Red Butte Garden A gorgeous botanical garden located near the University of Utah, Red Butte is the largest botanical garden in the Intermountain West. Utah State Capitol The crown jewel of Salt Lake City, the Utah State Capitol is a grand building that boasts neoclassical charm, marble floors, and intricate murals that depict moments in Utah’s rich history. With a breathtaking dome and plenty to see, the Capitol grounds include beautiful gardens, fountains, and statues. Gardens at Temple Square Known for their renowned beauty, the Gardens at Temple Square offer a tranquil oasis in the heart of downtown. Filled with seasonal flowers, formal gardens, reflecting pools, and more, visitors enjoy a combination of stunning Gothic Revival architecture and beautiful displays. The grounds are free and open to the public.

Gallivan Center A year-round open space and urban area, the Gallivan Center offers a variety of fun during the summer months. On Tuesdays, you can find live big band music in a vibrant atmosphere featuring professional dance lessons and more. This area also has plenty of sports courts and free gear if you are looking for physical activity during the week. The Gallivan Center also offers summer roller skating, where its ice rink converts into a roller-skating rink. You can join in on the funfrom 6-9 p.m. for only $5.
