Board of Trustees Agenda 2020

Campaign Volunteers Recommendations

• Identify Campaign Co-Chairs that represent the institution and significant campaign constituencies. Ideally, a Foundation Board representative would be paired with a non-Board member. In addition to committing significant gifts to the campaign, the chairs would also be positioned to partner as public ambassadors for the campaign in addition to leading the campaign committee. • Develop a Foundation-led campaign committee comprised of Foundation Board members, University Trustees, high-value stakeholders, and key faculty/staff. This is a great way to engage campaign leadership to focus specifically on campaign activities and outcomes. • Build individual constituent (school/unit) advisory committees. These groups will focus on bringing the individual school/unit vision to life and engaging with key targeted alumnus, donors, and prospects. • Prepare for committee activation. Develop committee charters, potential committee member recruitment lists, recruitment plans/processes, onboarding and training plans/schedules, and timelines of activity.
