This was a hard-working director and cast who created great tension throughout the scene, surprising the audience with its violent conclusion. Transitions were somewhat stilted, but the set and the concept were very strong, and the effectiveness of the play was long-lasting. CORFE HOUSE Us & Them By David Campton Directed by Dominic Edmond Insatiable human greed inevitably leads to conflict in this play, which parallels a resource-hungry world. Incorporating naturalism, Brechtian features and absurdism, the actors play out the futility while two recorders comment. The talented cast was awarded runners-up in a very close competition.
