ended with two wins, three draws, a number of close losses by one goal, and then some by a few more. Throughout the season the boys played some expansive and highly skilled attacking hockey, spreading the ball and creating a number of scoring opportunities. The opportunities we did finish were spread across the team. Nine players scored at least one goal, with our top goal scorers being Tim Gould and Tom Foster. On the defensive end, goalkeeper Ederick He, in his final season, certainly saw his fair share of action and saved a number of goals with some athletic displays. The squad was well led by Jack Satterthwaite, who did this through voice and actions. Overall, we had some success and saw plenty of development, and look forward to more exciting hockey for those who return next season and those who progress up to the 1st XI.

This season we farewelled Year 13 leavers Jack Satterthwaite, John An and Ederick He, who have served College hockey and the 2nd XI with great ability. Team: John An, Oscar Chaffey, Tom Foster, Hugh Fraser, Timothy Gould, Callum Hackston, Ederick He, Sam Kelly, William Law, Will Morris, Matthew Munro, Jack Satterthwaite, Alex Stead This year's 2nd XI showed a lot of promise, as we had a well-rounded squad of young and experienced players of considerable skill and ability. We also knew we would get good support from the Colts team and from the players who would come up and play for us as needed. This certainly proved true, as they added something to the team each time they played. Although the season hung in the balance for a while as we dealt with the impact of the Covid-19 lockdown, when it did get underway, we managed to get through a full season of 13 games. As we were playing in the Division 1 grade with a mix of 1st and 2nd XI teams, we knew there were always going to be challenges to face and tough opposition to test us, and our results reflected that.
