and the Jonas Brothers to Thomas Rhett and Lainey Wilson to Harry Connick, Jr. and Michael Buble and so many more. We’re looking forward to Morgan Wallen later this year. In the summertime, we love to go to theme parks (Silver Dollar City in Branson is a favorite) and hanging out with friends at the creek. WHAT’S THE FIRST CONCERT YOU EVER ATTENDED? I’m dating myself here…I was thrilled when I found out that Rick Springfield was coming to Joplin, MO, and ecstatic when my mom agreed to take me. I think I was around 10 years old. I still love Jessie’s Girl. IF YOU HAD TO EAT ONE MEAL EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE? I am not a picky eater, so it could be just about anything, but I particularly love sweets. I could eat ice cream every day. ARE ANY OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS PRECIOUS MOMENTS COLLECTORS? My mom loved Precious Moments and I loved being able to get her special figurines, often signed by Mr. Butcher.
IF YOU COULD LIVE ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Right here! I love traveling and experiencing new places, but I enjoy living in southwest Missouri. I grew up here and wanted my kids to go to school here. We have a low cost of living, it’s safe, and we get all four seasons, sometimes all in the same day! I still have a million places on my future travel list but this area is home. WHAT WOULD YOU SING AT KARAOKE NIGHT? Hmm…I’m not much of a singer, but it would probably be something from my big-hair 80’s era – maybe some classic Bon Jovi or Journey. ■
