General Fund In 2023, the General Fund revenue increased by just under 9% and expenditures increased by 3.6%. The City of Beachwood transferred $11.4 million to the Capital Projects fund for major infrastructure projects. Purchasing A new purchasing webpage was created to help support local, minority and women- owned businesses by encouraging them to become a registered vendor with the city for future purchasing consideration. A Minority & Women-Owned Business Open House was held on November 15. Beachwood’s department directors attended and an invitation was extended to surrounding city government officials.

Sanitary Sewer Projects Capital investment in sanitary sewer/storm water projects was $3.8 million in 2023. Also, the Timberlane/Green sanitary sewer project started in late December at a price tag of $4.6 million, to be completed in 2024.
