The goal of every event hosted by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is to give members impactful information, essential networking opportunities and meaningful dialogue. We hold several annual events featuring industry-best keynote speakers and subject matter experts. • State of the Schools – Oklahoma City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Sean McDaniel, Higher Education Chancellor Allison Garrett and others discussed the state’s current educational system and potential opportunities. • State of Health – Keynote speaker Stephanie Wierwille, SVP at national marketing firm Revive, discussed the changing landscape of health care and how businesses can best prepare for the future. The event also featured a panel discussion among the CEOs of Oklahoma City’s largest health systems. • State of the Economy – Expert economist Anirban Basu provided attendees with his thoughts and predictions on the national economy, while a panel of regional economists discussed local issues. • State of the Aerospace Industry – This event brought together Chamber members and local aerospace leaders as they discussed the current work taking place at the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB by prime contractor Pratt & Whitney. • State of the City – Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt

• Annual Meeting – Chamber Chair Sean Trauschke and Live Nation Entertainment executive Anthony Nicolaidis sat down for a fireside chat before a crowd of nearly 630, for a discussion on Oklahoma City’s rise as a music industry destination.

The successful monthly Chamber Forum series, which brings thought leaders together to discuss major initiatives, programs and current issues that impact Oklahoma City’s business climate, economy and community, featured many prominent speakers. Some of the most popular Chamber Forums held in 2022 included such topics as the city’s various diversion programs that are making a difference, updates on MAPS 4 projects and progress surrounding the Convergence development and the OKC Innovation District, the recovery of OKC’s visitor economy; and the future of Oklahoma City’s bioscience sector.
