One example of the partnership’s recent success is the number of fast-track classes offered at Mid-Del which skyrocketed – from 110 a year to almost 1,900 through the Onward OKC compact. The partnership is also a big selling point for companies considering expansion or relocation to Oklahoma City.
A company’s success relies heavily on the availability of a skilled workforce. To ensure those needs are met, we encouraged the creation of Onward OKC, a partnership between five of Greater Oklahoma City’s largest and most diverse career technology centers. Canadian Valley, Francis Tuttle, Metro Tech, Mid- Del and Moore Norman now work together to provide seamless workforce development solutions. By focusing on collaboration instead of competition the technology centers can streamline processes for businesses with training needs. They’re also able to
