For many on the tour, the wide variety of capabilities they were able to see at all the different plants — from handling small, high-volume quantities to large bin boxes — was impressive. “We’re looking at material handling stuff right now, so it was a real good way for me to see people moving product around through their plants,” said Kevin Ausburn, CEO of SMC Packaging Group of Springfield, Missouri.
