Good performance bull who is long bodied and smooth moving. He is out of an excellent young Complete granddaughter. Statistically, there is no other bull who is predicted to improve teat size and udder suspension as much as this bull. His daughters are also expected to have great longevity.
Here’s a stud that is one of the top candidates to start the sale. He is off the charts for performance, and from looking at him, you could never guess that he is a young April 1st born calf. He is the #1 ratioing bull for both weaning and yearling. For weaning, he had 128 contemporaries (bull calves out of mature cows) and was remarkably able to ratio 128 in that group. Then many bulls were cut so the yearling contemporary group only contained the high caliber bulls that made the sale. He was still able to ratio 123 in that group. When I received the genomic results back, I was excited to see that the genomics recognized his greatness. He has the top YW EPD in the sale and is top 2% of the breed for WW EPD also. One of the really unique things about him is that even with all of that growth, his daughters still project in the top 15% of the breed for functional longevity. He also has superior teat, udder, and $W figures. His HF Tiger-sired granddam C013 is a beautiful cow who has weaned 8 calves at a 104 ratio. I considered flushing her even before Lot 132 came onto the scene.
