Canada, Britain, Jamaica, France, Ceylon, the Philippines, Germany, Australia, and South Africa. The pur pose is largely to make gospel litera ture more readily accessible, to inquir ers and to provide spiritual counsel by men who are acquainted with the problems faced by people in these various lands. The Back to the Bible Broadcast has established a missions agency through which many missionaries and mission organizations and societies are as sisted. This foreign missionary work falls into four general divisions. The first of these is the general promotion of world missions. The second has to do with the support of missionaries; 245 missionaries are now supported by funds channelled through the Broad cast. Then there are numerous mis sionary projects such as hospitals, printing presses, trucks, boats, etc., sponsored each year. And finally, there are 465 missionary broadcasts released each week in 30 countries. Of these programs, 446 are in English and 19 in French and German. Literature plays a vital part in the ministry of Back to the Bible Broad cast. In 1959 the Back to the Bible sold or distributed approximately 6,- 500,000 pieces, of gospel literature.

This figure includes 3,750,000 copies of the monthly publications, “Good News Broadcaster” and “Young Am bassador,” and 2,750,000 copies of books, pamphlets and tracts. Two book clubs, one for youth and one for adults, have a circulation of well over 100.000 books annually. The “Month- ly Literature Supplement” offered on the daily broadcast is very popular with Back to the Bible listeners. A book is given free on the program dur ing each month. In 12 months nearly 900.000 books are distributed in this way. The most efficient business methods are used to process the daily letters, requests and orders from listeners. In addition to an efficient and capable office staff, the Back to the Bible makes use of up-to-date electronic machines for speed, accuracy and economy. In case of letters involving Bible ques tions or spiritual problems, these are routed to a special counseling depart ment, composed of several men and women with deep spiritual perception and a profound knowledge of per sonal problems. This counseling min istry is not confined to any single age group; the same prayerful considers-
