was born in Greenville, TX and has lived most of her life there. She is a single mom of a teenage daughter, Savannah and has worked hard to provide a life for them both. Savannah is her motivation to keep working hard and never give up. While raising Savannah as a single mom, Christie worked and took online classes, earning her Bachelor's in Business/ Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship and a Master's in Library Science degrees. Christie's life-long love for books has inspired her career at the W. Walworth Harrison Public Library as a Youth Services Librarian. She and her daughter currently reside in Greenville, TX, along with two cats, Ash and Lila, and a turtle, Gamera.
