With a BFA in Studio Art and a background as a former art teacher, she has explored countless artistic mediums— from painting and theatre to writing stories that spark the imagination.

Her debut children’s book, Boo Meets Mew, tells the heartwarming story of a lonely ghost who adopts a mischievous kitten on a whim, only to discover that life is much brighter with a friend. Inspired by her granddaughters, children, and husband, Heather’s storytelling is filled with warmth, humor, and the magic of unexpected friendships. A proud resident of Greenville, Texas, Heather is actively involved in the local community theatre alongside her husband. When she’s not writing or painting, she loves spending time with family, cooking way too much food for the people she loves, and creating art in all its forms.
