CHECK-IN PROCEDURES • All materials needed for check-in with the Student Affairs Office will be done online and must be completed 48 hours before the student arrives. These items include: • Emergency Contact Form • Immunization Form (all vaccinations must be up to date and the form completed) • Medical History Form • Consent to Treat Form • All students must have completed all forms before they are given room keys. • Students must arrive on either the date they are assigned to move-in or after that day. • When arriving on campus, all students will report to the Malcolm Center. • Only students (no visitors) will be permitted in the Malcolm Center during the check-in process. Wednesday, August 12 | Women’s Volleyball and Freshman Football student-athletes Friday, August 14 | Dance , Cheer , and Men’s and Women’s Cross Country student- athletes Monday, August 17 | Freshman students Tuesday-Wednesday, August 18-19 | Transfer students and Returning students (including Graduate students) COVID-19 TESTING Upon arrival, students will be required to take a COVID-19 test in the Malcolm Center Gymnasium. This test will be administered by local and regional health officials. The Gymnasium will be set up so that CDC guidance on social distancing is accomplished. If a student tests positive, that student must go to Fitzgibbon Hospital for a PCR test and then into quarantine housing or they must return to their home to begin classes remotely. Students that test negative will receive room keys and parking passes in the Charles L. Bacon Room. The Bacon Room will be set up to meet CDC guidance on social distancing. Students who do not arrive on one of the approved check-in dates will be required to obtain a COVID-19 test at Fitzgibbon Hospital before being allowed on campus. CHECK-IN DATES Monday, August 10 | Returning Football student-athletes T uesday, August 11 | Men’s and Women’s Soccer student-athletes HOUSING MOVE-IN PROCEDURES Students are only permitted two people to accompany them to help move in belongings. Individuals are expected to wear protective masks in every public space on campus. When working in their private residence, they may work mask-free. Individuals under the age of 18, unless a current student, will not be permitted on the college campus during the check-in process. (Occupancy levels of housing are currently expected to be no more than 2 to a room.) QUARANTINE AREA Missouri Valley College has set aside 1320 Conway Apartment for a COVID-19 quarantine area. This space will give us a minimum of 18 and a maximum 36 beds for use.
