NUCO WELLBEING
WHAT WE HAVE DONE THIS PAST SEASON:
Resort Management Mental Health training with St Johns Ambulance – everyone passed with flying colours! Non-alcohol events such as yoga, mountain brunches and race days. Mental Wellbeing Guide on the passenger app. 2 qualified Mental Health Responders. Charity donations to Student Minds. Wellbeing team in resort during the night. 24/7 phone number that passengers can ring.
Mental wellbeing issues can catch us off guard, creeping up when we least expect them. We especially understand that being away from home can be a bit like searching for fresh powder on a bluebird day, challenging. At NUCO, we’re committed to making sure everyone feels comfortable and taking a proactive stance on our passengers’ mental wellbeing. Our core community, students and young people, are statistically more likely to be affected by mental health issues. We have taken action to improve how we inform our passengers about looking out for their mental wellbeing, as well as the processes we use to support those facing difficulties whilst in resort.
