Récemment, Bateaumagne a conçu son quatrième restaurant, Oktobre, qui a pris la suite du Kitchen Gallery Bis, rue des Grands Augustins, pour en faire un écrin aux couleurs d’au- tomne, dans une ambiance d’été indien. Recently, Bateaumagne designed its 4th restaurant, Oktobre, which took over from Kitchen Gallery Bis on rue des Grands Augustins, turning it into an autumn-colored show- case with an Indian summer ambience.
« Notre démarche de travail est la suivante : les projets sont pensés dans un premier temps en plans, la restruc- turation des espaces étant la première étape du processus créatif. Viennent ensuite les planches d’ambiances et les sélections de matériaux, qui permettent à nos clients de se projeter dans un univers visuel et tactile. Puis interviennent les étapes dites techniques, cahier des charges, dessins, élévations, qui vont permettre un chiffrage précis et un cadre à respecter pendant la durée du chantier. Lorsque la créativité est maître mot en phase de conception, la ri- gueur et le sens du détail prennent le relai dans les étapes de chantier et de mise en place du mobilier et de la déco- ration. » « Our approach is as follows : projects are initially conceived in terms of floor plans, with the restructuring of spaces being the first step in the creative process. This is followed by mood boards and material selections, which allow our customers to project themsel- ves into a visual and tactile universe. This is followed by the so- called technical stages - specifications, drawings and elevations - which provide precise costing and a framework for the duration of the project. While creativity is the watchword during the design phase, rigor and attention to detail take over during the construc- tion and installation of furniture and decoration.»
