It was the residence garden of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany and later of the Italian kings. This vast green space is a veritable open-air museum, enriched by ancient statues, large fountains and the magnificent Grotta di Buontalenti, bearing witness to the Mannerist style and “grotesque” fashion.
