Bullhead Physical Therapy is participating in Tri-State Youth’s Internship & Leadership program this summer! It will be a learning endeavor for one of our youth in the community, as well as our staff to work side by side with an intern in a live environment. They will receive hands-on practice as well as be taught techniques which will help further their involvement and interest in the medical field. Tri-State Youth’s vision is to develop a highly involved community support system to inspire young adults, to enhance professional experiences, to cultivate tomorrow’s business leaders for a lasting change, and to impact and strengthen the community. Their Leadership & Internship program matches applicants ages 16-25 with an internship in the local community. Intern positions include:

• Law & Public Safety • Business Administration

• Medical Facilities • Construction Trades • Emergency Services • Law & Public Services

• Clerical • Culinary • Automotive • Dental Offices

HEALTHY RECIPE

BLACKENED CHICKEN WITH AVOCADO SAUCE

• 4 (4 oz) chicken breasts • 2 tbsp blackened seasoning • ½ cup plain, Greek yogurt • ½ avocado • 1 tsp lemon juice • ½ tsp garlic powder • ⅛ tsp salt • 2 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced

Place the chicken breasts and blackened seasoning in a large resealable bag. Seal and shake a few times to evenly coat the chicken. Lightly coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until cooked through, 4-6 minutes per side. Meanwhile, in a foodprocessor,combine theyogurt,avocado, lemon juice,garlicpowder,and saltandpulseuntilsmoothandcreamy.Toserve, topeachchickenbreastwith 2 tbsp of the creamy avocado sauce and garnish with ½ tbsp green onions.
