ULUWATU TEMPLE AND KECAK DANCE (4 HOURS) One of the main temples on the island of Bali, Uluwatu, is located on the southern tip of the Nusa Dua peninsula. This temple was founded by the Hindu priest Nirartha in the early 17th century. From the viewing platform, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean. At sunset, Balinese dancers perform the traditional Kecak dance – the «fire dance» or «monkey dance.» About 150 Balinese men, dressed in sarongs, chant «chak-chak-chak» in a rhythmic recitation, while dancers in colorful costumes tell the story of Princess Sita and the evil demon Ravana. The main character of the performance is a dancer dressed as the white monkey, Hanuman, who performs his part dancing barefoot on hot coals.

EAST BALI (8 HOURS) You can traverse the entire island in search of ancient temples, majestic palaces, breathtaking views, and unforgettable adventures, or you can see everything at once in a single day! Surprised? Then join the unique tour «Discover the East of Bali» and see for yourself. The east of the island is famous for its mighty volcanoes, whose slopes are covered with solidified lava, royal palaces surrounded by blooming gardens and ponds with fountains and lotus flowers, meticulously cultivated rice fields, and, of course, the underwater world. On this excursion, you will visit a Hindu temple on the coast of the Indian Ocean, built at the entrance to a cave inhabited by numerous bats. You will also explore a village of «true Balinese,» where the famous magical fabric «ikat» is woven by hand, and sacred books are created on palm leaves. Finally you will visit the Tirta Gangga water palace, the residence of the last king of the Karangasem kingdom. The palace has a sacred spring, bathing in which is believed to bring healing and cleanse karma. The majestic Mount Agung, stunning panoramas of rice fields, palm trees, and black sand — the east of Bali will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on your heart.

*The temple is home to a not-so-friendly family of Balinese macaques. It is recommended not to stray far from the guide and not to wear expensive items or jewelry on this excursion
