TOURS: ANCIENT TEMPLES OF BALI During this excursion, you will visit three amazing temples of Bali. Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave, is believed to have been built in the 11th century at a site used for spiritual meditation. The entrance to the cave is adorned with the head of a monster, once mistakenly thought to be an elephant, hence the name «Elephant Cave.» Inside the temple, you can see symbols of both Hinduism and Buddhism, reflecting the essence of Hindu Dharma, which combines elements of Hinduism, Buddhism, and ancient beliefs from the island of Java. Another must-visit is the Tirta Empul temple, which is also included in our program. This temple of holy water is a place where Balinese people undergo a purification ritual using holy water. The temple dates back to the 10th century and is dedicated to the god Vishnu. Legend has it that during a battle, the army of the god Indra was poisoned, so he struck his spear into the ground, and the water that gushed out revived all his warriors. Since then, the springs have been considered to bring longevity and prosperity. At Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple, also dedicated to the god Vishnu and dating back to the 13th-15th centuries, you can fully enjoy the tranquility and peace of this beautiful corner of the island. Here, too, are sacred springs, which, according to legend, were created by Vishnu himself to give life and protection to warriors fighting evil in his honor.

WHITE WATER RAFTING ON THE MOUNTAIN RIVER Is it possible to combine an extreme adventure with the contemplation of nature’s beauty? Absolutely, if you embark on a rafting trip down the beautiful Ayung River, which flows into the Indian Ocean through the pristine jungles of Ubud. The alternation of turbulent rapids and calm flows will allow you to enjoy the lush beauty of the Balinese jungle, where flexible vines envelop sheer cliffs, cool waterfalls cascade down mountain slopes, and colorful parrots and exotic butterflies fly right above your head. At the end of the journey, you will be offered lunch and a hot shower, and you will also have the opportunity to purchase a photo taken by a professional photographer during the rafting experience.
