T HE K I N G ’ S B U S I N E S S Name, Phil. 4:19 holds good. I may be on my way in June. If not will be with you for Alumni. Yours for Africa. A1 W. Grieve, '18, writes from Torr ranee, Cal.: “We are at the Torrance Baptist, church where we have been for three months, during which time the church in every department has been greatly blessed of the Lord. We have had a number of conversions and have been privileged to take in twenty-two new members. We are intending to further our education by going to Uni versity this fall if the Lord so wills. If He so desires when my wife graduates from B. I this June we are going to South America.” ' J. Austin Brillhart, ’18, writes from Manteca, Cal.: “Since my graduation in December, 1918, I have had the privilege of working with Geo. P. Wicker in Northern California, Frank Stanley in Coachella Valley, Wm. P. Nicholson in Santa Maria, Cal., and at present I am with Rev.' Francis J. Rea gan holding meetings in Manteca and will later be with him in Turlock. I am using the P. T. L. in my work and the Lord is blessing this work very greatly. Thus far I have secured about 250 pledges and have given away and sold over 225 Testaments.” K. Albin Karlson, ’18, writes from Nandurbar, Khandesh, India: “Though in a far off country, I am happy in the work, knowing that even for India’s millions the Lord died that they might live.”; ,v Annie E. Thomas, ’18, writes from Managua, Nicaragua: “I am happy and contented here in Nicaragua, where it is intensely hot and where sin, degra dation and superstition reign supreme. I need not say my happiness is not a result of conditions, but rather a result of God’s leading me to a field where “The harvest is great and the laborers are few.” GOD’S DAY EVERY DAY One Sunday, while on his way to the Tabernacle in a downpour of rain, C. H. Spurgeon was accosted by a member of his congregation, who remarked in a doleful tone: “This is a dreadful day, Mr. Spurgeon!” “Nonsense, my good sir,” was the cheery reply. “This is the day that the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psa 118:24).

serving sentence here rather than at the city jail. Souls are being won for Him, the majority of our girls going out from the home saved. We have had about 100 in the home during the seven months we have been here, about two- thirds of them having accepted the Lord.” Vera I. Wilson, ’17, writes from San Francisco, Gal.: “The last seven months I have been affiliated with the branch of The National Bible Institute in San Francisco. (Headquarters in New York). I rejoice in the privilege of witnessing daily at street meetings, held in the heart of the city, teaching Bible classes, and going with the gospel to neglected places.” O. J. Kirk, ’18, writes from Bellota, Cal.: “The Lord gave me a pleasant surprise Sunday by giving me $420 which with what I had already received pays my way to Africa. Praise His
