nominations this may not seem possi ble, but the fact remains, and it would be a problem for an angtl from Heaven to distinguish by prayer, or song, or tes timony, or any other tning, one denomi- nation from another. While it is doubtful if the lecturers and the lectures of previous years could* be displaced in the hearts of those who are old-timers, it must be stated that never has a course been more helpful, in a very real sense, than the course laid down for 1919. It is a fact that needs constant reiteration that with a Spirit-filled speaker who is a Spirit- filled messenger, the message is God’s message, whether the messenger be Torrey, or Hunter, or Evans, or Kyle, or Dixon, or Griffith-Thomas, or the humblest pastor of the smallest church. The Rev. J. H. Hunter of Los An geles, opened each day with lectures on the minor prophets and the men soon found that after the lecturer had con cluded, the prophets had ceased to be minor. Joel, Jonah, Amos, Hosea and Micah lived and breathed and spoke once more as Mr. Hunter displayed their characters, their times, and their testi monials. Dr. M. G. Kyle’s lectures on Biblical Archaeology were the product of a ma ture mind that had concentrated on the subject with such intensity that he lec tured with the same familiarity and freedom that the average man talks about his home or garden. He has a passion for the truth of God’s Word that makes him a safe guide through strange and perilous paths. Again and again he established with scientific certainty the truth of God’s Word over against the vague pronouncements of higher critical unbelief. The Ministerial Institute is fulfilling a great need in furnishing such a recognized expert as Dr. Kyle. The fact that the members of the faculty are approachable made it possible for the men to converse with their teachers at the conclusion of the lectures and Dr. Kyle was always in demand for ques tions and answers. Dr. A. C. Dixon, now of the Bible In stitute staff, was another new man on the faculty of the Ministerial Institute. Dr. Dixon is a spiritual, intellectual and physical giant. There is not a small thing about him and his themes were in height and depth and breadth com parable with his heart and mind. His subjects reached from “Hell” to “Heaven” with “The New Jerusalem” and “Armageddon” thrown in for good

“Will you not come back again?” she asked. “I will think about it,” Was his answer. The next morning again he was asked, “Are you not ready to come back?”. If you live, you need Christ; and if you die you must have him.” “Shall I pray with you?” The young man consented. The nurse prayed and he repeated her prayer over after her. Then he accepted Christ and his face lighted up with His glory. When this story was told the father and mother, it melted their hearts and while the Bible woman was there they yielded to God, and the father said as he followed her to the door, “I am saved; I know it; and I am going to serve Christ the rest of my life and meet my son in Heaven.” The mother said to the Bible woman, “My younger son is coming home from France soon; will you promise me to lead him to. Christ?” “I will try." A few days ago, he came home and the mother brought him at once to the Bible woman and he accepted Christ and was gloriously saved. If the Blessed Christ comes soon the older son will rise from the grave and together with the brother and father and mother, they will be caught ap to meet the Lord in the air, and so they will be forever with the Lord.—Mrs. T. C. Horton, Supt. Third Ministerial Institute of Montrose Montrose the beautiful! Situated in the northeastern part of the State of Pennsylvania, has taken to its heart two great Christian institutions, the Ministerial Institute and MONTROSE the Montrose Bible Con- INSTITUTE ference. The union of the beauties of Nature with the beauty of holiness represented by the institute and conference makes the condition almost Edenic. The Min isterial Institute in particular appeals to the average pastor who can find rest, refreshment, fellowship and instruction under ideal conditions. The unanimous testimony of blessing from the men at tending must make those responsible for it all, rejoice. The Third Annual Ministerial Insti tute began July 15th and concluded July 31, 1919. The attendance was larger than the two previous years and the spiritual atmosphere was decidedly rich and uplifting. With pastors pres ent representing fourteen different de
