Ve E ith e r Confess or Deny Jesus Christ,

boy saw that Jesus did not start to go to his home, he asked him again and pleaded with Jesus to come before his boy died. Now Jesus saw that the fa ther of the boy really believed that He (Jesus) had power to heal the sick boy, and what do you suppose Jesus did? He told the father to go back to his home that his boy would live. Now do you think that the man started home without Jesus? Yes indeed he did, for it says, “The man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.” How differently the man felt as he travelled toward home, and how anxious he would be to reach home and see his boy. As he comes in sight of his home the servants come to meet them, and the father can see from their faces that they have good news, and as soon as they get near enough to speak they call to the father saying, “Thy son, liveth.” Then the father asked the servants what time the boy began to get better, and they told him the day before, and then the father knew it was just the very same hour when Jesus told him to go that his son would live. Not only this father of the boy believed in Jesus, but his whole

family. O what a happy home this was now that the boy was well again and the whole family trusting in Jesus. Now if we believe and trust Jesus we will believe the word that Jesus speaks unto us just as this father did, a.nd that means we will believe every word in the Bible for it is God’s word. If we really mean it let us say the words of our memory verse and use the word we instead of the man. We will believe all the words that Jesus speaks unto us, and we will do as He says. Closing Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus we thank thee for thy word, and help us to always do what thou dost ask us. WHERE BOLSHEVISM F AILS Someone has said: “It was not enough for Cain and Abel to be born brothers—brotherhood must be born in their hearts. You see precisely the same phenomenon in Russia today^- Bolshevism, idealism, without the power to realize it; an endeavor to get men to be brothers without getting enmity out of their hearts.”
