KNOCH KNOLLS NATURE CENTER

The Knoch Knolls Nature Center offers the community a chance to discover and learn about the region’s plants, animals, and natural resources. The facility features a mix of youth and adult- oriented exhibits with displays of local wildlife, an aquarium, and live animals. Programming includes nature-based preschool activities and summer camps hosted within the building’s two classrooms. The nature center also hosts a variety of events including birthday parties, private rentals, and meetings through facility rental opportunities. Knoch Knolls Nature Center served 12,243 participants in 2023, a 6% increase from 2022, across a variety of programming mostly for young and school-aged children held in the River Room and Prairie Room. The facility also saw 13,822 drop-in visitors in 2023, up 50% from 2022.
