DESIRED LOCATION OF A NEW INDOOR RECREATION FACILITY Respondents checked all the locations they would support a new indoor recreation facility. Almost a third of respondents (27%; N=1,225) indicated they would like a new multi-purpose recreation facility located on the south side of Naperville, followed by the east side (16%; N=736), north side (16%; N=731), and west side (15%; N=694). Ten percent (N=448) are undecided about the location and 17% (N=776) do not support a location for a potential future activity center (Figure 13). TRAVEL TIME TO AN ACTIVITY CENTER Almost half of respondents (46%; N=527) indicated they are willing to travel 10-14 minutes to a potential new multi-purpose activity center, followed by 31%(N=358) who would travel 5-9 minutes, 14% (N=160) who would travel 15-19 minutes, and significantly fewer respondents (5.5%; N=64) are willing to travel 20 minutes or more (Table 4).
