RECREATION FACILITY NEEDS MET Responses for this category were similar between the random and public survey responses. The largest need reported for the public sample was a lap pool (82%), followed by a warm water therapy pool (79%), a pool for swim lessons (79%), and spray/splash pads (49%). A modest need was reported for a theater/performance space (26%), turf fields (24%), walking/ jogging track (22%), gym courts (19%), and health/fitness space (19%). Multi-purpose rooms, social spaces, general program spaces, and gymnastics space reported lower needs from 16-18% of respondents indicating a need for these spaces.
