PICKLEBALL DEDICATED COURT LEVEL OF SERVICE By comparing regional participation data with facility data, we can gain insights into how well a region is satisfying current pickleball demand. We compare level of service (number of courts per 1,000 participants), focusing on dedicated courts with permanent nets and lines installed. The chart below (Figure 23) shows the regions in order by dedicated courts per 1,000 participants. Across the nation, regions have an average of 2.3 dedicated courts per 1,000 participants. In the Mountain region, the level of service is highest, at twice the national average. The Middle Atlantic region has the lowest level of service, at less than half the national average. In the East North Central region, where Naperville is located, there is an average of 1.8 courts per 1,000 participants.
