GYM, TURF, AND EVENT SPACE SIMILAR PROVIDER OFFERINGS Gym, turf and event space facility similar providers have offerings that need specialty areas for recreation leagues, community leagues, club sports, travel leagues, or on-site tournaments. These spaces include batting and pitching cages, practice areas, and multiple fields. See offerings listed for each facility in Figure 16. During research for this report, more amenities and program offerings are available at these similar providers but are not listed. While there may be more offerings at these facilities than listed, the information provided demonstrates the current market of gym, turf, and event spaces. Activities at these facilities are generally youth oriented with lessons and coaching available so players can advance not only by age group, but also by ability. This creates youth players that stay involved in the sport for a longer amount of time. Birthday parties are offered in nearly one-third of the similar providers that also offer rentals.
