INDOOR RECREATION SPACE NEEDS Respondents indicated the greatest need for indoor aquatic facilities with 62% reporting unmet need for a water park with slides, followed by a strong need for a lap pool (60%), a pool for swim lessons (57%), and spray/splash pads (40%) (Figure 11) . Twenty-five percent of respondents indicated a need for an additional walking/jogging track, followed by theater/performance space (23%), health/fitness (21%), additional social spaces within recreation facilities (20%), and gym and court spaces (19%). It should be noted that one-third to one-half of respondents were unsure of their need for a theater/performance space, gymnastics spaces, turf fields, multi-purpose rooms, and gyms/courts.
