When endeavoring to improve into a tight run near the 200m had to be steadied. Approaching the 50m was brushed. When qst regarding settling in a forward position rider stated that his instructions were consistent with previous starts, to be as prominent as possible, however, of more recent times that mare had not been beginning well in its races. He stated this time the mare had jumped particularly well and was able to cross runners to its inside without being pressured, which resulted in the mare initially leading before being steadied. RHIL 04/11/2023 From the outside barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. Held up for clear running approaching the 300m until after passing the 200m. RAND 14/10/2023 Rider explained it was not his intention to lead, however after beginning well, he found himself more forward than anticipated. M V 28/10/2023 On jumping shifted in and made contact. RAND 14/10/2023 Rider Michael Dee reported his mount was disappointing and stated the mare was agitated pre-race which may have been detrimental to its performance. Leaving the 400m commenced to lay in and became awkward on heels. RHIL 07/10/2023 Slow to begin. Shifted out under pressure over the final 100m CAUL 21/10/2023 Began awkwardly and shortly after was bumped. From an outside barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages.
