COLD, BOLD

Compass Indy agents trading in pumpkin spice for something a little… icier.

Bernie Goodman credits his routine at Ozwell in Carmel, where cold plunging has become part of his daily reset.

“Not life changing, but if you can change your day—every day—then that makes it life changing.”

Kathryn Berg and Nick Galvin are already regulars at Cold Plunge Studios, and word on the street is Brittani Gandy , Payge Rhodes , and Urooj Qureshi recently took the plunge too. Their review? “Amazing. Addicting. When can we go again?”

A traveling cold plunge for office parties? Don’t tempt us. Word is, the idea has already been floated.

And while cold water wakes us up, there’s another trend perking up our afternoons: drinks with a twist. Lauren Sexton’s blueberry matcha is making waves in both offices. The blend of blueberry syrup, blueberry purée, and soy milk has even the skeptics converted. Urooj? She’s officially on team matcha now. Ellie Orzeske ? She was introduced during her very first week—Lauren made her one, and later Payge showed her how to mix it up at Broad Ripple. It’s become such a go-to that the ingredients are now grocery-list staples at both offices. But wait—there’s more. Olivia Perez and Jessica Goss were recently caught mixing up an Alani Witches Brew, complete with sweet cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and plenty of ice. Perez says it “tastes just like a caramel apple.” The result? Equal parts surprise and delight—and maybe a little sugar rush. So whether it’s icy plunges or colorful concoctions, one thing’s clear: our team knows how to turn the ordinary into something worth buzzing about. After all, at Compass Indy, it’s not just about what we do—it’s about what we’re loving along the way.
