terminology; the different contexts in which they were formed; the issues and problems that it portrays in its relationship with social, political, intellectual and philosophical transformations; and their effect on human thought on these issues. This is because terminology cannot be isolated from the social, historical and political structures that produced it. In addition, some social and historical operations occur from within the terminology (e.g. cyberspace, social media networks). The dictionary’s scientific material will be published in upcoming issues with the contribution of academics and researchers specialised in lexical studies; and the dictionary will be supplemented and enriched with new terminology in the field of communication and media, keeping pace with the flow of terminology in this constantly evolving field of knowledge. This scientific material was prepared by Dr. Kamal Hamidou.
