I was often tempted not to have prayer band because of the very few that came. God taught me, though, that “it is required in stewards that a man, or woman, be found faithful.” God enabled me to be faithful to the task He set before me. The new friendships I probably never would have experienced have been a blessing also. The greatest blessing I received was answered prayer. When we all had been praying for the same request for almost two and a half quarters, and received news of a good and sometimes “bad” as humanly we see it, we rejoiced knowing we had a part in the ongoing ministry of the missionaries.
