Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1995

IN HIS WORD

Classes at the Word of Life Bible Institute hold a far greater goal than mere intellectual achievement. This is because our textbook was not written by the finite mind of man, but rather by the eternal God in whom we believe and place our total confidence in. Four days a week are spent in five intense hours of studying God's Word, the Bible. We have two profes sors, Mr. Marshall Wicks and Mr. Thomas Davis, who instruct us in Bible Survey and Theology. In addition, there are different guest lecturers who come in each week to train us in a study of a specific book within the Bible. Being constantly in the Word of God is a concept in which can be found no fault. In Isaiah 55:11 we are told God’s words will not return void or prove empty. It is the heart on whom those words fall upon that will be affected in ways beyond physical understanding. Here at Word of Life Bible Institute is the strong conviction that each Christian should have a firm Biblical foundation on which to stand. For as life continues in this decaying landslide of a world, we realize the need for truth and those committed to that Truth are in greater demand each day. II Timothy 2:15 states, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the Word of Truth."
