Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1995

When asked how Gypsy Smith was more excited about the gospel now than fifty years ago, he simply replied, “Sir, I've never lost the wonder of it all.” This was the first challenge given to us by Wendell Calder at the beginning of the year. You can only imagine the impression it made on the students with the excitement in the air of the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. In review of this year only individually can we decide whether we have never lost the wonder of it all. Have we just acquired knowledge, or have we allowed this knowledge to make us fall more in love with God's Word. It would be a sad thing to make this the beginning of the end. Our challenge is to live out the words of Gypsy Smith. The experiences of the Bl-chapels, lectures, ministries-have equiped us for that challenge.
