Daniel was a young man who was obedient to the call of God in a pagan Gentile world. When he arrived in Babylon he made a choice: '‘He purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the meat and drink from the king’s table.” This call was Daniel’s anchor. It gave him security, stability and focus. Thankfully the class of ’95 has that goal. 1remind you that this com mitment to the call of God was made as a young man, and it was a commitment he honored throughout his life. Bible study and prayer were essential ingredients in his life and must be in ours. Your year at the Bible Insti tute is but a foundation for the life you build. Build to the glory of God, for one day He will hold you accountable.

My prayer for the class of 1995 is that no one will turn away or turn back or quit, but that everyone, as the Lord tarries, will be known as men and women who have answered the call of the Lord. It is only as we yield to Him that we can truly answer the call and say, “Lord, here I am send me.”
Psalm 55:22 — “Cast your burdens upon the Lord and He will sustain thee, He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.'’ 1pray that each one of you graduates will never move away from God’s Word, and that He might be the greatest influence on your life as you move out into a world burdened by sin. Christ will sustain you as you remain committed to Him.
