Yasmine Sawyer Although the Phantom of the Opera wasn’t behind the scenes causing mischief at the Word of Life Masquerade, paper faces were still on pa rade. Hosted at The Inn, students found enjoyment in dressing up and participating in contests; some even took the chance of going through the “Haunted House.”
With their rendition of "Be With You" by 90's rock band Mr. Bigg, Alex Kim and Eric Nelson set the tone for the newest tradtion, WOLBI Superstar.

UP W,th our own variations of Simon,' Randy and Paula, Word of Life held its own version of American Idol. Participants got to show off their talent—or lack there of—with raps, impersonations, and true performance. The enthusiasm of the contestants made this event amusing for everyone.
