o h s s o r Full Name: Charles (Chuck) F. Scheide

Date of Birth: 11-3-38 Wife’s Name: Joanna

How did you meet your wife? At Philadelphia Biblical University, where she was a commuter (drive-in) student, and I a dorm student. WOLBI, you see, is not the only “Bridal Institute” in the world. Children’s Name(s): Christine (Tonielli), Charles, Jr., George Grandchildren’s Name(s): Charles M. (Max) Scheide Life Verse: Romans 12:1-2 What was your occupation before you came to be a prof at WOLBI? Served 34 years in the pastorate (the final 22 years of that time as an adjunct at WOLBI) When you first finished college, did you think you’d be a pro fessor some day? Absolutely not Favorite flavor of ice cream: Chocolate Favorite food: Wifes’s Roast Beef Favorite quote: “Keep On Keeping On!” Favorite Class to Teach: Pastoral Epistles Favorite Book of the Bible: I Timothy What’s your favorite thing about your job? That the Lord is per mitting me to help train the next generation to “Keep On Keeping On!” Favorite Musical Group: The Ron Upton Singers Do you have any alligator hunting stories to share? When look ing for a lot to build our house on a six foot alligator was stretched out on the street, facing the direction of the only lot on the block available and for sale by owner. We have lived there now for nearly 6 of the 8 years we’ve been in Florida. Jonah had his great fish; we have our six foot alligator (though we never had an inside tour like Jonah) What is a final thought you’d like to leave with the students? You only get one shot in life to really accomplish all that the Lord wants you to do, though there may be some false starts along the way, i.e. John Mark, Jonah, Peter. There will come a day when we come face to face with our Lord at the Judgment seat of Christ and there we will I “receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2 Cor. 5:10. May none of us be standing I there empty-handed. Let each of us live our lives in such a way that it will be easy for our Lord to say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
